Hi everbody!
How are you all doing then? Things have been great, can't wait for the album to be released around Scandinavia in a few days. I just performed in Cesme, Turkey and it all went brilliantly. Great show they put on there and the people were lovely. Thank you all so much for a warm welcome!
You can check out the video on my Myspace page and YouTube channel.
Well, here it is, second part of the questions you guys sent me.
Good day,Yohanna! Would You like to tell us something about Your boyfriend? Who is this luckyboy? How long do You know him? Are you planning marriage? How soon? Hope you both will be veeeery-very happy together!
Hello to you. Well,he is 20 years old, tall with dark hair! Very handsome J and very funny. Besides that he is supportive. We talk about music and listen to music a lot, he plays a guitar not in a band or anything, just for fun. We have known each other since we were kids because he used to live next door! We have never talked about marriage, and since we are so young there is no need to do so for the next few years.
Which city outside of Iceland has been your favourite to travel to?
I have seen many beautiful city´s over the years because of my career, but Manhattan, New York always seems to stand out!
What is your favourite way of spending your free time? (Hope, you have a little after working and answering the mail )
I love going for a walk in the countryside, being with my dogs, horseback riding, doing all kinds of sports, going to my summerhouse. But my favorite is simply being with family and friends.
if there was a chance some day, whom would u like to sing in a duett with?
It has always been a dream of mine to sing with Don Henley and Robert Plant. Both amazing singers, who are very different to me, but I think a duet with either one of them would sound very nice !
What's your favourite drink when you go to a bar?
If you could recommend just ONE thing to somebody to eat, drink, see or do when visiting Iceland, what would it be?
I don't drink alcoholic drinks, so the choice would be a glass of water or a plain orange juice !
We have amazing food here in Iceland so just knock yourselves out and go to the center and try out all kinds of different restaurants but everybody who comes to Iceland has to try our wonderful lamb meat I promse you it is delicious. If you want to see something nice, I would recommend going to the country side, go horseback riding and enjoy the environment. Probably you will see mountains while you ride your horse and even a waterfall !. If you are interested there is always an interesting selection of tours you can take around Iceland with a guide that will show you the things like the blue lagoon and Gullfoss and Geysir.
But i'm curious, which of your own songs do you like most? =) I guess "Is it true" but except that? =) I like "Is it true" and "Beautiful Silence" most, they're really good both of them!
Butterflies and Elvis is really close to my heart. I wrote it in Los Angeles, I had been there for two months and I was feeling very lonely because I was alone there, working, and my boyfriend was in Iceland. At that time I got really inspired to write a song about him, so I sat down with my co-writer and out came "Butterflies and Elvis" , It has been my favorite ever since.

I was wondering when the original cd will be available in Europe and the e-stores to buy? I've heard the songs and watch some videos and I have to say that, your job is amazing. Your voice is so warm and the songs are romantic and refreshing at the same time and sound well too [congrats to your producer(s)].
Wish you all luck and happy life and I hope you'll give a concert in Greece :D
