One thing that I noticed was the great spirit in the Iceland team during the ESC. Looking at the video from the Iceland Party at the ambassador, you all seemed to have so much fun and really enjoy it.

Now, your backing singers Hera, Erna and Fridrik are well-known successful artists in your home country, yet they seemed to be perfectly happy in their background supporting role, when all the attention was focused on you. I don't think that would ever be possible in a Dutch team to be honest, egos would kick in I suppose :)

Maybe you would like to comment on the role of your great backing singers, especially on their role in the team-spirit?

(I might be wrong, but in any video I saw I'm almost sure I saw a little smile on Erna's face whenever u hit the high note spot on once more, great example of great team-spirit :) )

Thank you for your interesting question. I have known Hera and Friðrik for a long time. Hera has been one of my teachers trough the years, Friðrik I have also known for some years, and last year I met Erna, she was one of my backing vocals in my Madonna- show. I think those three are among the funniest people I have met.

In Eurovision there was never a question that we were a team and we all had the same goal, that is to do our best and to make Iceland proud of us !

We were very much focused on sticking together and to have a great team spirit from the beginning. The rehersals in Iceland went great and we had a lot of laugh and in Moscow we always sang together in the bus „Is it true" of course.Before we went to stage we made a circle and held hands.It was such a greaat support for me to have these great backing singers behind me because they are so much more than backing singer, they are my friends. I have also noticed the smile on Ernas face when I hit the high note and it is a good example of how supportive they were. Besides that, Erna has a very beautiful and a bright smile!.

I would love to visit Russia again! It really was wonderful to be there. Next time i go, I would love to have a big concert, and then afterwards have some time to see more of Russia, unfortunatly me and my team were so busy that we did not have much time to see much of your beautiful country !

I have always wanted to be a singer, nobody has ever influenced me to do anything I didn‘t want to do, but of corse I have been influenced in a good way by many people such as my mom who sang a lot for me when I was little and played me all kinds of music and introduced me to all kind of singers. I even started to sing before I started talking. My mom has often told me, that in first grade I told my teacher that i didn´t have to learn math because i wanted to be a singer ! I also have to say that I have been very lucky that my family, my manager,friends and co-workers( in the music industry) have all supported me an cheered me on, and thats very important to meJ

Really glad for your growing fame and glory! I would be very pleased if you'd answer my question...Here it is: is there any thing or idea or something else that you would certainly give away the whole carrier,fame and even lose your life for?

Hmm, that´s a difficult one.

I would give almost anything for my career since being a succsessful singer has always been my biggest dream! But to me,my family always comes first.I think I could not sing if I had to give away my family away.

I can tell you what my partents said when I asked them ! They said I am "energetic,strong willed, stubborn, a little bit demanding, honest,loving and funny!

What album will you never grow tired of listening to?

That is a hard one because I have so many favorites ! But if I had to choose than I would say The Eagles( Hell Freezes over) I never ever get tired of listening to Don Henleys voice in these amazing songs.

what is your favourite film?))))

I like funny movies, so I would say that „Get shorty" is very high on the list.I also like many of Quentin Tarantino´s movies, he has a gift, he makes everything so cool!

My questions to you: What about your songs? - Who writes them and do you participate on that?

Did you always want to make "pop" music or have you also thought about other genres?

I co- wrote the songs on "Butterflies and Elvis" together with songwriter Lee Horrocks.

I have always been a fan of pop music, especially the "diva" kind of music (Celine Dion, Whitney Huston, Aretha Franklin and so on) But I would still like to try other genres in the future, I love rock music, jazz and blues as well, and I hope I will get the chance to try out those genres someday.

..... If you somehow knew that you were going to be stranded on a desert island what three things would you take with you?

I would definitely take my i-pod, some food and one of my dogs !
